The 45-year-old shared an article about official figures showing that black people are up to four times more likely to die from Covid-19 than white people.
But he linked it to a conspiracy theory, which has been debunked, that the virus originated from a lab. Campbell tweeted: “Was this virus a natural mistake or a designed mistake...? “I wonder does this virus deliberately attacks a certain blood type….?” But he was met with a huge backlash online.
