Johnny Depp has denied headbutting his ex-wife Amber Heard and claimed she suffered a bloody mouth due to "dry lips". The actor, 57, is back at London's High Court for a fifth day giving testimony as part of his libel case against News Group Newspapers.
Depp is suing NGN over a story published in The Sun in 2018 which branded him a "wife beater" - a claim which he strenuously denies.
After returning to the witness stand today, Depp insisted he did not headbutt Heard in a row on December 15 2015 - the day before Heard was due to appear on the Late Late Show With James Corden He told the court Heard "violently attacked" him and was punching and hitting him Depp said when he grabbed Heard's arms to stop her hitting him their foreheads clashed.
