Former Arsenal defender Sol Campbell has advised Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang to seek assurances that the club will be busy in the transfer market before signing a new deal.
The Gabonese striker has had yet another prolific season at the Emirates, and his 19 Premier League goals make him the second top scorer in the division, behind only Leicester's Jamie Vardy.
The club are desperate for him to sign a new contract, with his current deal expiring in June 2021, but as of yet Aubameyang has yet to decide on his future.
Speaking to Stadium Astro, Campbell urged the 31-year-old to make sure the club are willing to spend big before committing his long-term future to the Gunners, and thinks he needs to have a serious conversation with manager Mikel
