Tour Championship snooker is set to go ahead behind closed doors today, despite the ongoing coronavirus pandemic causing most other events to be suspended.
This week’s event is due to take place in Llandudno and was previously expected to take place in fans present but after new advice from the government on Monday, the decision was taken to go ahead with the games behind closed doors.
Several of the sport’s top stars will be in action, including Judd Trump, Neil Robertson, Mark Selby and John Higgins, with the event one of very few offerings of live televised sport on ITV.
