Motherwell Photographic Society hosted Carluke Camera Club, Hamilton Camera Club and Lanark Camera Club for a friendly four-way print competition at its meeting on Thursday, March 2.The judge for the competition was Charlie Moore from Eastwood Photographic Society.
It was fantastic to see a large number of visitors in the hall for the first in person four-way print battle since February 2020.Each club’s entry consisted of 10 prints.
There was a variety of subject matter including landscape, nature, portrait and still life photography. Charlie gave each print a score out of twenty with the scores ranging between 14 and 20.
The final result was Carluke Camera Club 180, Motherwell Photographic Society 168, Hamilton Camera Club 163 and Lanark Camera Club 149.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
