cat was thrown from a car into a stream – before a heroic dog walker stepped in to rescue it. The long-haired ginger, which has been named Honey, was chucked into the water in Doncaster, South Yorkshire.She was “fully submerged” and was desperately trying to reach the bank on Finkle Street.Honey was saved by a passerby, who then called over another woman to help.She and her husband dried the cat off, before realising she was underweight and was suffering from an exposed access.The RSCPA animal charity is now trying to trace the animal's owner after she was thrown from a black Honda.Honey has been transferred to the RSPCA's Doncaster and Rotherham branch in Bawtry, where staff say she is doing well and wearing a red jumper for warmth.RSPCA.
