Simon Cowell is reportedly making a fast and remarkable recovery from surgery after he was left nearly paralysed. The X Factor and Britain's Got Talent judge, 60, is allegedly already taking his first steps after he underwent surgery recently for his broken back.

It comes after he fell off an electric bike at his home in Malibu, with doctors saying he nearly severed his spinal cord which could have paralysed him for life.Following a gruelling six hour operation, the star is said to be in "good spirits" despite the horrors of the last few days.Simon has even began working from his hospital bed, according to sources.
