Shoppers being sold 'fake fur' that is actually real in 'ongoing scandal'

Online shoppers are being sold goods made from “fake fur” that is actually real. Humane Society International/UK researchers bought 11 items from Amazon, eBay, Shein, Romwe, Just Your Outfit, Boho Style and Danielli, which had real fox, mink and racoon fur.

They included £30.48 “vegan faux fur” slippers from Boho Styles, which were made of fur, most likely from foxes. A £10.99 pullover and a £2.49 keychain from Shein also wrongly claimed to be fake fur, as did “faux fur” flip flops on sale on Amazon, and a £16.99 pair of slippers from eBay.
