'Shooting and stabbing' in East Grinstead leaves two injured as group flee in car

dailystar.co.ukA suspected shooting and stabbing this afternoon has left two men injured, one seriously. Armed police and two air ambulances were called to the scene in East Grinstead, West Sussex, just after 1.30pm on Tuesday.
Sussex Police are reported to be searching for a grey Fiat 500, which the alleged attackers escaped in. Police confirmed two men were injured in the attack, with one believed to be in a serious condition.
He was airlifted to hospital while the other man was treated at the scene. Their conditions are yet to be confirmed by police.
No arrests have been made. Shocked residents of the small town took to social media to express their disbelief that something like this could happen near their homes.
