Five people are believed to have died from salmonella poisoning and hundreds more have fallen seriously ill after eating contaminated chicken imported from Poland.

The Food Standards Agency has urgently recalled three processed chicken products which have been on sale in supermarkets and food stores across the country.

SFC Chicken Poppets and Take Home Boneless Bucket were on sale at both Sainsbury's and Morrisons. And the Chick Inn 32 Jumbo Chicken Nuggets, made by Vestey Foods, were sold in Heron Foods stores and B&M.
