And thermostats across the country have also dipped, with temperatures struggling in single figures throughout Scotland.The move into October signals the start of autumn, but it appears that winter is just lurking around the corner.A forecaster is anticipating more snow to land in higher parts of the country towards the end of this month.And there is a chance that it could travel southwards.
Met Office senior meteorologist Greg Dewhurst told The Sun : “We’re likely to see some snowy weather in higher parts as October moves into November.
