Scots flute band promise 'bigger' Battle of Boyne celebrations

A statement was issued on their Facebook page saying they will be 'travelling a short distance along the M74' to a mystery location in Motherwell.'William King' has issued another statement on the page saying the event will now be 'bigger' and the band has secured a 'private field'.They have promised to practice 'strict social distancing ' while taking part this Sunday's event to mark the Battle of the Boyne which took place in 1690.Scottish Government restrictions allow for two households to meet a third within a property from July 10 and singing is also being discouraged due to a possible spread of the virus.It.
