Scots Farmfoods staff left terrified after threats by ‘gaunt’ thief who made off with £400 in cash

Ayr Farmfoods store before making off with £400 in cash. The suspect walked into the Main Street store at around 6.40pm on Friday, March 26, where he terrorised two workers - leaving them ‘badly shaken’ by the ordeal.

Thankfully, neither were physically injured but the man managed to steal the three-figure sum of cash before off from the scene.

Officers have been scouring CCTV in the local area in a bid to identify the crook who is described as being white and around 5ft 10in tall.He has a medium build, an unshaven, gaunt appearance and discoloured teeth while also speaking with a local accent.Witnesses say he was wearing a khaki jacket with a light-coloured fur-trimmed hood and red trainers with white markings.Enquiries carried out have.
