Blantyre, South Lanarkshire, has been officially named by police as the man who died in a home in the town on Wednesday. We told how cops swarmed Camelon Crescent in the town after the body of a 33-year-old man was found on Wednesday following a disturbance.

Police are treating his death as murder. A 20-year-old has been charged in connection and is due to appear at Hamilton Sheriff Court today, April 3.Richard's heartbroken family have issued the following statement: “We are completely devastated by the loss of Richard who was a much-loved son, brother, uncle and good friend."He will be cherished in our hearts forever.”Detectives are continuing with enquiries to establish the full circumstances of what happened.Detective Inspector Frank.
