India Lloyd has worn the earrings since she was two-years-old - they contain a sliver of diamond from her great-grandma's engagement ring.
Her dad passed away three years ago and her mum, Geraldine Lloyd, said India has struggled to deal with the sudden loss. Mrs Lloyd told the Liverpool Echo India was undergoing counselling and said wearing the earrings help keep her calm and 'feel safe' when things became too overwhelming.
