San Diego Comic-Con is going ahead as planned — amid the coronavirus pandemic. “To our amazing Comic-Con and WonderCon fans: We understand how difficult the current climate has been for all of us and appreciate your continued support through these trying times.
No one is as hopeful as we are that we will be able to celebrate #SDCC2020 together come July,” the convention wrote on its official Twitter account on Wednesday.
The pop culture event is slated for July 23 to 26 at the San Diego Convention Center. It’s one of the largest fan events in the country, regularly drawing crowds of over 130,000 visitors from all over the world.
