Chris McCausland was left saying the 'truth had come out' as Dianne Buswell's comments about her appearance on this year's Strictly Come Dancing were exposed - by her own dad.

The comedian was seen making his debut in the ballroom last weekend as one of 15 celebrities who have signed up for the BBC One dance contest.

The class of 2024 were welcomed into the iconic ballroom by hosts Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman as the new series kicked off with an energetic pre-recorded launch show.

During the show, it was revealed that Chris, who is Strictly's first-ever blind contestant, was paired with Dianne Buswell, who reached the final last year with EastEnders star Bobby Brazier.
