A leaked video filmed at a recent staff meeting in the city of Bijie, in south-western China’s Guizhou Province, shows employees wearing company bibs standing in a circle while appearing to carry out the bizarre form of punishment.
Footage from the alleged group punishment session shows an employee holding one of the wriggling worms on a piece of tissue in the palm of her hand.
One of her colleagues is then seen placing something in her mouth before washing it down with a quick swig of water from a bottle.
