The Russian Army has flaunted its total war capabilities using a satellite navigation system to coordinate attacks on targets during military exercises that included tanks, helicopters and howitzers.
In footage shared by the Russian MoD, howitzers and truck-mounted rocket launchers are seen firing missiles into the air as helicopters fly overhead.
Targets are shown being destroyed on the GLONASS satellite navigation system before the tanks roll in with foot soldiers behind.
According to the Russian MoD, the Western Military District used 2S19 Msta self-propelled howitzers which are based on the T-80 tank hull.
