Comedians have defended Russell Howard' s decision to storm off stage after an audience member filmed his new jokes. The 40-year-old comedian was angered when he saw a female audience member filming from the front row.
According to Bristol Post, Russell told the woman: "That's literally the worst thing you can do." After slamming the audience member and refusing to continue with new content, he eventually left the gig.
However, despite the gig not advertising a ban on recording, a number of comedians have taken to Twitter to support Russell's attitude to recording.
Sharing Mirror Online's story of the incident on, comedian Shappi Khorsandi wrote on Twitter: "[100 emoji] with Russell on this.
