BRITISH Superbike Championship rookie Rory Skinner put in a stunning display when the series visited his Knockhill home circuit last weekend.The Scot took two second place finishes at the Fife circuit on Sunday in just his second race meeting on the FS-3 Racing Kawasaki ZX-10RR.The 19-year-old, from Perth, had already impressed with fifth place on Saturday’s 20-lap sprint race.
The results mean he now stands in fifth place in the championship.Afterwards, Skinner said: “As a rookie, I go into each race with no pressure and to get a podium in just my second weekend on a superbike surpassed any expectations we had coming here."It’s a shame there was a limit of 1000 fans here but, even so, it was great to be racing in front of my home crowd,.
