NHS staff have been offered a helping hand by Chelsea and, specifically, owner Roman Abramovich. Doctors and nurses are having to contend with long hours and demanding shifts as they help with the battle against the coronavirus.
Chelsea have had to take a backseat from football as all activity has been suspended amid the virus outbreak. And the Blues are doing their part in tackling the difficulties faced day-to-day at present.
An initiative from Abramovich, following contact with the NHS via Chelsea chairman Bruce Buck, has seen the club move to assist NHS workers.
