Jamie, also 46, has been good friends with the singer-songwriter for several years. The former Liverpool midfielder caught up with Rob for the latest episode of Redknapp's Home Fixture on Sky One, which airs tonight.
As the pair reminisced about some of their wildest times together as best friends, Jamie shared that Rob stayed with him to escape the madness of the media following his decision to quit Take That.
As 'the whole country' were guessing his whereabouts, it turns out that the singer was enjoying some downtime in his pal's Liverpool pad.
