After talkRADIO shared a photo of Rob in a press flak jacket ahead of his trip, Right Said Fred questioned if he’d reported from other war zones in a snarky jibe.

The band's official Twitter account wrote: "I don’t remember him going to Yemen, Syria, Sierra Leone, Afghanistan, Congo, Libya, Somalia, Sth Sudan or Iraq.

Apologies if I’m wrong."Rob, however, quickly fired back, correcting the band: "Wrong said Fred. I was in Sierra Leone in 2003.
