RIVERDALE's showrunner has weighed in on the Jughead body conspiracy - and did little to comfort fans as he promised death and heartbreak in the latest rollercoaster episode.
Viewers of the teen drama have been on edge ever since Jughead's (Cole Sprouse) body was found during the mid-season finale.
And show boss Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa did little to dispel viewers' anxiety over Jug's death as he appeared to confirm his murder when he teased the latest episode on Instagram with a bunch of emojis, including a skull and heartbreak.
Posting one of Jughead's quotes - which read: "Life's not an Agatha Christie novel, it's a lot messier" - it was attributed to "Forsythe 'Jughead' Pendleton Jones III (born October 2, 2001 - died March 18, 2020)"..
