Rita Ora and Jade Thirlwall lead famous faces going offline for Digital Detox day

A number of celebrities have decided to ditch social media on Saturday. Stars- including Rita Ora, Little Mix's Jade Thirlwall and Love Island's Laura Whitmore - are taking part in a campaign named Digital Detox Day, in order to raise awareness of mental health and how social media can impact wellness.

And the famous faces that are on board with the message took to Instagram on Friday to share their support for the cause - ahead of going offline.

Revealing that they are going to ditch social media for a day, celebs have been posting snaps where they show the palm of their hand - covered in a black circle framing the word 'off' to the camera.
