Rick and Morty fans 'boycott' show after sick 9/11 and Pearl Harbour jokes

Ricky and Morty fans are outraged and have even said they are "boycotting" the popular show after it made a joke about the 9/11 terrorist attack.

The controversial moment was made during an episode titled Promortyus which said in the US on Sunday, May 10, and is going to air in the UK on Thursday, May 14, on E4.

During the animated episode, it follows Rick and Morty as they fly around an alien city and opt-out of attacking two towers ahead of them.
