The former Strictly Come Dancing star announced on Instagram earlier this week that Louise had died in hospital as he shared a picture of them smiling together.
Today Richard, 58, spoke about the strength of love and the importance of social distancing as he spoke about the death of Louise, who was married to his brother Andy.
Richard, whose civil partner David also died in December last year, explained Louise received treatment for cancer after being diagnosed earlier this year.
