Last year, residents of Carrington compared living in the village to sleeping on a motorway with the amount of vibrations they experienced in their homes due to passing HGVs.
They said they felt like their area had become the ‘forgotten village’ and was becoming an industrial backwater that the council didn’t consider as cracks began to appear in their homes’ walls and plaster fell from their ceilings.
