Meghan Markle's father has "no chance" of a reunion with her after he congratulated her on the arrival of her new baby, according to a royal expert.
Last week, Megan and Prince Harry announced they'd welcomed a daughter, Lilibet "Lili" Diana Mountbatten-Windsor. Her dad Thomas Markle, who Meghan is estranged from, wished her and her newborn baby girl "all my love and the best of luck".
But despite his good wishes, royal commentator Richard Fitzwilliam believes that there is still no chance Thomas and Meghan will be able to reconcile.
Mr Fitzwilliam said: "I don't see any chance of a reconciliation between Meghan and her father, from whom she has been estranged since before their wedding. "He has expressed pleasure at the baby's arrival."
