Ray Parlour warned Arsenal they're "going backwards" after Mikel Arteta branded his side's Premier League defeat to Brighton "unacceptable".
The Gunners were beaten by an injury-time winner from Brighton's Neal Maupay on Sunday, after Nicolas Pepe's opener had been cancelled out by Lewis Dunk.
The demoralising defeat followed a 3-0 thrashing against Manchester City on Wednesday, and Arsenal are now languishing in 10th place in the league.
With fourth-placed Chelsea set to play Aston Villa on Sunday, Arteta's side could find themselves 11 points off the Champions League places by the end of the day.
