Manchester United defender Raphael Varane has taken to social media to celebrate France winning the UEFA Nations League for the very first time - but did not provide any update on his suspected injury.
The central defender, who joined United from Real Madrid in August on a four-year deal, was forced off shortly before half-time, as France came from behind to beat Spain 2-1 in Milan.
With 43 minutes on the clock, Varane was forced to sit down on the turf holding his leg, requiring treatment from the French medical staff.
Although he was able to walk off the pitch unaided, the 28-year-old's early withdrawal was a cause for concern for United's fans watching at home on TV, plus, no doubt, manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
