Rangers stars Ross and Robby McCrorie made a visit to a kind-hearted kid ahead of his charity fundraiser last week. Football-daft Alfie Hadden, from The Murray in East Kilbride, ran 5K to raise funds for Muscular Dystrophy UK.
The four-year-old decided to take on the trek for his aunt Emma – who battles with the muscle-weakening disease.Having already received well-wishes from hero Scott Arfield, the Ibrox duo visited youngster Alfie the night before his big run.Dad Scott says Alfie couldn't wait to take on the challenge after the visit from the brothers.
He told Lanarkshire Live Sport : "We didn't tell him Ross and Robbie were coming, so they chap his door and he didn't know what to say.
