While New Yorkers are hunkering down to make it through the coronavirus pandemic, many have begun to turn to a once-divisive political figure to ease their nerves: Governor Andrew Cuomo.
Through his level-headed daily briefings where he updates New Yorkers on the evolving situation, the governor has created a sense of calm among a panicked public.So, native New Yorker Randy Rainbow decided to pay tribute to the governor with a new parody video.
Set to the tune of Grease's "Sandy," the clip follows a quarantined Rainbow as he falls head-over-heels for Cuomo. "But you bring hope when I can't cope/ I guess I'm saying aye-aye-aye oh I/ Love you so, oh Andy," he croons at his television set.It isn't long before Rainbow transforms into his full.
