Scotland as the number of patients being treated for the disease in hospital drops.Data has been published by the Scottish Government and Public Health Scotland this afternoon as part of the national Covid-19 daily briefing.Nationally, there are 532 patients being treated in hospital which is down 11 from yesterday.

There are currently 48 people with the disease being treated in ICU. The number of newly-reported positive coronavirus cases recorded by NHS Ayrshire & Arran has increased by 79 to 22,913.Of the new cases, 28 were from South Ayrshire and 26 were attributed to North Ayrshire.

There were 24 new cases in East Ayrshire.A total of 325,335 positive tests have now been recorded from 2.378 million tests carried out since the start of.
