Martin, 58, has recently received backlash following a report from senior judge Lord Dyson, who concluded the journalist had been "unreliable and dishonest" in gaining the interview.
Following the report, Martin said he was "deeply sorry" for what happened, but insisted Diana "wanted" to speak to him on camera.
Now, Diana's former butler Paul, who drove Martin to Kensington House for the controversial interview, has said the journalist "betrayed" the Princess.
