Prince Andrew is rumoured to be planning an escape from the UK to Abu Dhabi amidst the latest royal drama.The Duke of York has reportedly been offered a palace in Abu Dhabi by the country's ruling elite, The Daily Beast has claimed.The revelation is expected to feature in an upcoming biography by Andrew Lownie about the 64 year old prince.

With recent controversies surrounding his ties with alleged Chinese spy Yang Tengbo, some of Prince Andrew's friends are suggesting he might "do a [Prince] Harry" and relocate abroad soon.

Last week, it emerged that Andrew had apparently 'invited' the Chinese 'spy' into three royal residences, including Buckingham Palace and Windsor Castle.

Opting out of the Royal pre-Christmas lunch at Buckingham Palace on December 19, Prince Andrew also decided against joining the Royal Family for their traditional Christmas gathering at Sandringham due to his connections with the alleged Chinese operative.
