A Royal expert has suggested that Prince Andrew might never join the Christmas dinner at Sandringham again following the Chinese spy scandal.The Duke of York, who is 64, had an invitation to the Royal Family's festive gathering but chose to stay away after an associate was alleged to be a Chinese spy.
Speaking to The Sun's Royal Exclusive show, biographer Andrew Lownie remarked: "I don't think he's going to go to Sandringham ever again." He mentioned that it's crucial for the Royals to keep their distance from the embattled Duke to prevent further embarrassment.
Recently, Prince Andrew has been seen driving solo near his Windsor estate while other members of the Royal Family convened in Norfolk for the Christmas celebrations.
The Queen's third child, once her apparent favourite, Prince Andrew has experienced a dramatic downfall since his controversial BBC Newsnight interview in 2019.
