The use of VAR in the Premier League could be changed in a move which may impact Manchester United and Man City . Sky Sports are reporting that football lawmakers are reviewing whether to allow any communication between the referee and VAR to be heard by fans during matches.
This comes on the back of complaints from supporters on the use of VAR this season. United's 1-1 draw at Everton was the latest match to have a heavily debated VAR decision which ruled out a goal as Dominic Calvert-Lewin's effort was denied due to the presence of Gylfi Sigurðsson on the floor in an offside position, with the midfielder adjudged to have impacted David de Gea's sightline.
