A heavily pregnant mum claims she was left in tears after a shop worker allegedly told her to "queue like everyone else". Amanda Grant, aged 39, has been struggling to stand in supermarket queues for long periods of time due to current social distancing rules.

The woman, who is due to give birth in six weeks, told Liverpool Echo she has had to queue for over half an hour to get into some stores, which has left her "in agony and feeling like I'm going to faint." And the single mum-of-three claims she called The Range in Fairfield, Liverpool, on Sunday to find out if there were any allowances being made for pregnant women, doing their essential shopping.
