A pregnant doctor and her husband have launched the first stage of a legal fight against the government over life-saving gloves, masks and gowns for NHS staff.

Dr Meenal Viz and Dr Nishant Joshi say official guidance on personal protective equipment (PPE) may be unlawful because it differs from that by the World Health Organisation.
