A man has been arrested after police found him 'hiding in the bushes' with a large machete. Officers were called to search an area of the Little Hulton loopline at around 8.15 am this morning after a member of the public spotted 'someone carrying a large knife'.
Police searched an area of the path just off Mount Skip Lane before finding a man who appeared to be hiding. Inspector Kate Allen, from GMP's Swinton and Little Hulton team, praised officers for their work in a post on Facebook.
