Police called to sudden death of woman, 44, in Ayrshire village

Police have confirmed that there are no suspicious circumstances surrounding the death of a woman in Crosshouse earlier this week.The 44-year-old died suddenly in a property in the village's Kilmarnock Road with officers called to the scene just after 12.30pm on Monday.Officials have confirmed that a report will be sent to the procurator fiscal.A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “We were made aware of the sudden death of a 44-year-old woman at a property on Kilmarnock Road in Crosshouse around 12.40pm on Monday, 2 January.“There are no suspicious circumstances and a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.”For the latest news and breaking news visit our website.
