Police had bricks hurled at them as they searcged a car allegedly used for drug dealing. The officers were attacked in Ward End, Birmingham, on Saturday afternoon.
A group of men approached as police raided the suspicious vehicle. Bricks were then thrown and a fire extinguisher was set off in shocking scenes, report Birmingham Live.
Fortunately, no officers were hurt in the attack, the force confirmed. The offenders, who had launched the attack, fled the scene and no arrests were made.
Police said the car would now be forensically examined. Video captured the moment a dark BMW 3 series was loaded up onto an incident response unit truck and removed from the scene.
