Thousands of supporters gathered outside the ground and The Lowry Hotel on May 2 to demonstrate against the Glazer family's ownership of the club.
A group of about 200 supporters forced their way inside the ground and invaded the pitch, say police. The match was due to kick off at 4.30pm, but was postponed and took place at a later date.
