Piers Morgan has launched a stinging attack on Arsenal following the announcement that they will be making 55 staff redundant.
The Gunners released a statement on Wednesday confirming that they were being forced to cut costs in light of the coronavirus crisis, and a number of scouts and backroom staff are among those being let go.
The club have received heavy criticism since the news broke, with many supporters pointing out that their owner Stan Kroenke is worth an estimated £6.32bn and that their highest-earning players, such as Mesut Ozil, take home £350,000-a-week.
