The pair have been locked in an increasingly bitter war of words ever since she appeared on This Morning yesterday suggesting that the coronavirus crisis was being overblown.
He said she should not have been allowed on the show, tweeting: "Dumb, deluded & dangerous Covid-deniers like Denise Welch need to stop being given airtime.
