Piers Morgan has pointed out a flaw in Boris Johnson’s rumoured plan for a 10pm pub curfew.It’s believed the Prime Minister will announce a nationwide curfew on the hospitality industry on Tuesday in a bid to overcome mounting coronavirus cases.However, Good Morning Britain presenter Piers noted Covid-19 doesn’t care for time restraints and that the supposed new rules will simply make pub-goers drink faster. ‘Hearing @BorisJohnson is going to order pubs to close at 10pm from tomorrow.
What possible difference is that going to make?’ Piers asked. ‘Does he think Covid respects opening hours?’LBC host James O’Brien replied: ‘It reduces the size of the “window” in which you might get infected in the pub with, perhaps, an optimistic side order.
