Alexander Boris de Pfeffel Johnson Hon FRIBA (born 19 June 1964) is a British politician, writer, and former journalist serving as Prime Minister of the United Kingdom and Leader of the Conservative Party since 2019. He was Foreign Secretary from 2016 to 2018 and Mayor of London from 2008 to 2016. Johnson was Member of Parliament for Henley from 2001 to 2008 and has been MP for Uxbridge and South Ruislip since 2015. Ideologically, Johnson identifies as a one-nation conservative.

mirror.co.ukBoris Johnson has urged people to follow the rules and wear masks in shops, in order to protect the people they love. Speaking at a Number 10 press conference, the Prime Minister was told that in shops and on public transport there remain "loads of people not following the guidance.
Asked what his message to those people would be, the Prime Minister said: "Let me just say what I've said to everybody. Please follow the guidance." He went on to warn that people not following the rules could lead to "someone you love" being infected with coronavirus.
He said: "Bear in mind that you're doing it not just to protect your neighbour but ultimately someone you transmit the disease to could end up infecting someone that you love." And he said fines
