Public health experts have called for an investigation into whether the decision to allow the Cheltenham racing festival to go ahead could have lead to increased coronavirus cases locally.
Recent data showcased a significant increase in mortality figures compiled by the Health Service Journal, pinpointing that Cheltenham had seen double the amount of deaths, when compared to nearby cities and towns.
While the results have insinuated a heftier death toll in Cheltenham, a cause for the significant rise has not yet been concluded.
